About

I’m Dean, a British graphic designer with Chinese-Malaysian roots. With 15 years’ experience, I create impactful designs that make your day.

I’ve spent my career supporting clients in entertainment and pop culture. I love exploring the worlds people get lost in, and turning that connection into design they can take home.

Being a fan is personal. It’s knowing the references, spotting the details, and finding something that feels like it was made for you.

That’s where I come in. I get to know what makes your brand special, then find fresh ways to express it through collections, licensing style guides, and artwork for products and packaging. Thoughtful concepts, playful execution, and close attention to the details fans care about.

I work with brands, agencies and individuals. Whether you’re building something new or taking a familiar favourite somewhere unexpected, I’d love to be part of it.

Common questions

What do you actually do as a digital designer?

I design brands and digital experiences — from visual identities to fully built websites. My work focuses on creating clear, structured and visually refined solutions that help brands communicate more effectively.

What is your approach to design?

My approach is rooted in clarity, structure and intention. I focus on building systems rather than isolated visuals, ensuring that each design decision contributes to a cohesive and scalable outcome.

What kind of projects do you enjoy working on?

I enjoy working on projects where design plays a central role in shaping how a brand is perceived — whether that’s building a new identity, refining an existing one, or translating it into a strong digital experience.

What does a typical project look like?

Most projects start with understanding the context and defining clear goals. From there, I move into concept development, design exploration and refinement, followed by execution and implementation — often in close collaboration with the client.

Do you work with clients internationally?

Yes — I work with clients worldwide and structure projects to work smoothly across time zones, using async communication and clear milestones.

What tools and technologies do you use?

I primarily work with Figma for design and Framer for building websites. Depending on the project, I also use Adobe Creative Suite and other tools to support branding and visual development.

Are you available for new projects?

Availability depends on current workload, but I’m always open to hearing about new opportunities, collaborations or interesting ideas.
